Cringewatchers Events
Live Show in Brooklyn
We launched Season 2 with a whole new vibe: our first-ever live show, recorded at Soho Works in Brooklyn with an intimate crowd of friends and fans. For this special episode, Lori and Leila sat down with Sesali Bowen—author of Bad Fat Black Girl: Notes from a Trap Feminist—for a candid, hilarious, and deeply insightful conversation about age-gap couples on Ted Lasso, power, pleasure, feminist politics, and the personal stories that shaped their takes. After starting this podcast in lockdown, the energy of a live audience (plus wine, shortbread, and real-time laughter) made the experience feel entirely new and electric.
Bans Off Our Bodies March
In May 2022, as the country reeled from a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion threatening Roe v. Wade, thousands gathered to defend the right to control their own bodies. Cringewatchers stood alongside them and listened to people share why they showed up, what they feared losing, and what they hoped to protect. Their voices stayed with us as Dobbs ultimately fell. Listen below.
